I really thought I was going to by-pass morning sickness this time around, but I didn't get so lucky! Yesterday I had my first visit with the nurse concerning this pregnancy and the morning sickness I've been feeling lately. This time she suggested something I haven't heard of doing, so after the appointment we sprinted went to our local drug store and bought motion sickness wrist bands. I was a little skeptical at first but now I am a believer. I still have the nausea, but at ALOT lesser degree. It started working about five minutes after I put them on both wrists. The cost was around $8.00.
- it is a knitted elasticized wrist band, which operates by applying pressure on the Nei Kuan acupressure point on each wrist by means of a plastic stud.
- it has been clinically tested against nausea and vomiting in travel, pregnancy, anaesthesia, chemotherapy and all conditions which induce nausea.
- They are suitable for adults and children.
- Because the bands do not use drugs, they do not cause any of the side effects associated with anti-nausea drugs and can be worn on each wrist whenever you feel nauseous.
- Simple to use, the Sea-Band does not need specialist handling.
- Care should be taken however to position the bands according to the instructions provided with the product.
- They become effective within 5 minutes even if nausea has already started.
- They can be worn continuously.

My friend and sister used these and had relief. I forgot about them. I'll need to tell my two daughters who are having bad morning sickness. Thanks for sharing and congratulations!
