I have sold alot of things on craigslist over the years. My biggest item I sold was cousins HOUSE last summer.
Its almost a competition against myself.
(which I have entirely too much fun with) :-)
This summer we've sold some interesting items {to say the least} to help bring in some extra dough for my grandparents
( & because we love them & the thrill of it!)
Junk Car: $150.00

with a total of $750 EXTRA cash for them which we used to paint the exterior of their house. aka how myself, mom & sister spent our August. :-)
Pictures to come.

Well this week my husband was out appraising and came across this bathroom vanity and countertop. he saw potential and called me and we both thought we could sell this on craigslist. It needed new handles (cost $5.00) and about 1 hour of fixing by my super handy hubby and we posted her and we just sold it this morning for $75.00. A
$ 70.00 profit to put toword our student loan debt! Praise God for this completely random way to make some extra cash!!

Tip: I learned a tip this time posting this vanity on craigslist. I had originally posted it on "furniture" and didn't get one call for four days. bummer. I was looking over at different cateogires and saw the category of "materials....bingo! We had our first call ten mins later.
How sweet is that.
Anything you've sold on craigslist you'd like to share?
Have a great weekend!!

thanks Monica! :-) I must admit I'm always on the "hunt" for my next craigslist thing to sell!
I should start selling on craigslist to help pay for our trip to Disney World. You'll be my craigslist mentor!!

Thanks Karen. I LOVE YOUR site. :-)
Way to go! I've sold a few things on Craigs list, train table, bed spread, etc. I'm thinking of putting some things up soon. I really don't want to have a garage sale, so I think this is the alternative.
we sell on Craig's List regularly too! mostly unused furniture or clothes the girls have grown out of. Someone bought an old style cd player for $20 from us-that's 1/4 of the price paid for it at least 5 years prior! :)
Wow, good for you! We have a nice, running car currently for sale and no one's biting. What are we doing wrong? BTW, we live outside Cedar Rapids!
Thanks for joining our blog hop over at Sassy Sites! There are some amazing blogs out there, and you are definetly one of them! I'm a follower of yours too! Happy Friday! xoxo

Great Job! I need to do some selling of my own, just haven't gotten around to it. Visiting from Tatertots & Jello.
Great job! I have an elliptical that I would LOVE to sell- but so far no one on my cl wants the darn thing. I never use it and it takes up much stinkin' space.
I keep telling myself I need to start shopping/selling on craigslist! I really need to get to it!
Thanks for linking up to Show and Tell Saturday!
Craigslist doesn't do well in our area yet, but I buy & sell brand name baby items on e-bay. I get my shopping fix & make some money at the same time!
I do this but with Ebay....
