frugal thank you!

giving a couple of cookies is a nice way to say thank you....say for babysitting :-) A simple way to "jazz" that up a little bit is use a ziplock baggie and scrapbook paper to make this little gift more special. Its frugal and thoughtful. score!

What you'll need:
ziplock baggie
marker
scrapbook paper
cookies or whatever you want to fill the baggie with
stapler

What do you do for small "thank you" gifts??  I'd love to know!

Great post - good question, I'm always looking for that unique little thank you gift -

I'm a beader so I bead up a wire and attach a chandelier crystal - hang it in front of a window to catch the light and it's beautiful.

Everyone I know and live near now has one...
I'll come back to see what other people say, great question!

I really like this idea and I will def use it in the future! I like that you could customize it to the event as well.
I just noticed in your sidebar that you love Diet Mtn Dew - me too! Come see my post on how I used recycled DMD bottles, burlap and jute to make a 'green' mantelscape. Here's the link:

For small gifts, I like to give (non-Christmasy-looking)ornaments throughout the year and also I keep a supply on smallish frames on hand (cheap at the thrift store) and insert a piece of sbook paper in it with the words Thank You written on it (or any other message).

Thanks for your great ideas!

Such a cute idea!!! I usually just give a hand written card but I think i'm going to have to start doing this instead! Well as soon as I learn to bake a cookie without killing it! ;)

What a clever idea!!! I usually just write a thank you card and send it in the mail. This is so much more personal! Thanks for sharing!

This is such a great idea. I am going to use it if you don't mind.

Sometimes I will print off a photo on cardstock of the person/family I am sending it to with a personal note inside.
Thanks for sharing, Vicky

Aw, this is so simple, and so perfect. I love how easy and quick it would be to throw together before heading out the door!

Thank you for linking this to A Little Craft Therapy with Life in the Pitts.
